I work from a psychodynamic perspective, helping patients understand how past and present experiences shape the way they think, feel, and relate to themselves and others in everyday life.
My approach is conversational and collaborative. I listen closely and actively, offering a safe, personal space in which patients can explore their feelings, relationships, and unique ways of experiencing the world. Together, we establish goals for therapy and reflect on progress along the way.
I work with adults and couples facing a wide range of challenges. Some come to therapy with a specific concern they hope to resolve in a relatively short time, while others feel overwhelmed by multiple difficulties and wish to develop a deeper understanding of what troubles them and why.
My work includes helping patients with anxiety and depression, obsessions and phobias, addictions, complex relationship difficulties, and physical and mental illness.
I offer both short- and long-term psychotherapy, as well as psychoanalysis, a more intensive and in-depth form of treatment for those who would benefit from it.
While psychotherapy takes time, my experience is that it offers a meaningful path toward lasting mental well-being.
